Why are you creating stuff you do not want in your life?

Hey there, Coach Faye here, author of Choreography of Awakening, founder and creator of i’MAGiNT LiFE™, and the teacher of i’MAGiNT LiFE PATH™. Welcome back, and today I'd like to take on the topic of: Why am I creating stuff that I don't want to create in my life?

I meet so many people frustrated with what's going on in their lives, and they struggle with finding a positive, satisfactory relationship or job or making just ends meet. Whatever, fighting, struggling with disease. They ask,  "Why is that? What can I do differently?"

It's critical for us to understand that our mind is extremely creative. What that means is we create, we manifest what we see in our imagination. As a matter of fact, if you take this moment right now and look around the room or wherever you are at, you will see that every single object, every single thing in your environment was created by someone who imagined that. The same applies to our life, we imagine something and we respond to whatever picture we have in our head and we create our life. You would ask, "Well, what about disease? Did I imagine the disease?"

Well, not necessarily, but you could have been walking and all of a sudden in your mind's eye you visualize this burger and french fries or whatever and you just have this desire to have and then you go and you buy and eat it. Then later you're struggling with some kind of disease, because the stuff obviously accumulates over time. It doesn't necessarily mean that what you see you create in that same, I mean, like it manifests immediately. It doesn't. But it adds on overtime just the same way as the positive manifestation. It takes time.

You visualize, for example, you visualize becoming a doctor and you don't become doctor that very moment. You start taking steps to become a doctor. You start studying about medicine, you go to medical school, you complete medical school. So it's a long process, and to create that that you don't want is the same exact process. It doesn't matter, the universe does not differentiate between what you want and what you don't want. What you see, you create. Jesus is known to say this quote, "Do you not understand that what you see, you will become?" That's exactly what he had in mind.

In my opinion, that's exactly what he had in mind. It meant what you see, it's not ... 'cause whatever you see, you interpret it in a certain way and you respond to it in a certain way. You start taking actions in a certain way and you start creating certain things in your life that you like or don't like. Because not everything in your life you don't like, there are lots of things that you do like. So you create both of those things.

When I decided to record this video, all of a sudden I remembered this situation when I coached figure skating. I coached skating and my student would be doing the program or doing the elements, and it would be a busy skating session and there are lots of people on the ice. When there are lots of people on the ice, people get in the way. So my student would come over and complain. "Coach Faye, I can't do anything, everyone gets in my way, bla bla bla," and she's getting really frustrated. I looked at my student and I said, "Really? What if you stopped looking at people and you started looking at the empty space?" For a moment they'd be like "Huh?" I'm like, "Well, look."

So I'd show them, there'd be a person standing in front of them, and you look at the person, and now look a little bit to the right, and there is no one there, it's empty space. So it just happens that we always gravitate towards that that we see, it's just a normal thing. I mean, think about driving on a road. If you start looking at some object, you have actually increased the likelihood of hitting that object. Where if you're actually looking at the empty space, it's much easier for you to go around that.

If you walk, for example, on a wooden plank that's being put from the roof of one building to the roof of another building, they tell you don't look down. 'Cause if you're gonna look down, you're going to fall down. So it's the same exact principle that what you see you will become. That you have to really commit yourself to training your mind to see that that you want versus seeing that that you don't want. So many people live in fear of scarcity, in fear of poverty, in fear of loneliness, in fear of being abused and taken advantage of. Well how can you be afraid of those things if you've never seen them before?

So the only way you can be afraid of those things is if you have seen them before and if you continue in seeing them. But a lot of the people don't actually live in the experience of those things at the present moment, and yet they're still seeing those things and being afraid. 'Cause they see them in their minds' eye. So somehow they attract that that they see into their life without consciously being aware of. As a matter of fact, I created i’MAGiNT LiFE PATH or i'MAGiNTs, i'MAGiNTs, the little cards, the actual coasters with the qualities written on them. There's a specific formula, I'm not gonna go into detail of that.

But what i'MAGiNTs actually do, they help you plant a slide in your mind through which you start imagining things. So instead of imagining things uncontrollably without any intent, you actually see your i'MAGiNT, let's say you're seeing: I'm Trust i Want, and you start visualizing life through the trust. So it becomes consciously intentional in what you see. As a result, you start taking actions differently. So just like I coached my students on the ice to see the empty space on the ice and take that space versus looking at people and seeing that everyone is getting in your way. You see, on the ice at that moment, two things exist at the same time. The empty space and the space that's occupied.

The same in our life, abundance coexists with scarcity. Loneliness coexists with cooperation and partnership and connection. So you can choose what is it that you want to focus on and see and bring that more into your life.
